Blackjack II From Samsung Receives Free Windows Mobile 6.1 Upgrade

It's been a busy week over at the Microsoft camp. First the AT%26T Tilt received its upgrade from Windows Mobile 6.0 to Windows Mobile 6.1 and now it has been announced that Samsung is following suite, offering the free upgrade for the companies best selling qwerty keyboard product.







According to Samsung the companies Blackjack II device which features a full qwerty keyboard will receive an upgrade from WM 6.0 to Windows Mobile 6.1. The upgrade is available immediately for download.





It should also be pointed out that users with different operating systems will be required to download different ROM packages for their upgrades.

Both upgrades are up now. But please be aware that upgrading your ROM should be done at your own risk. If a ROM fails you can attempt to flash the device again until the unit reboots into the improved 6.1 interface.
